Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:
1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup cake flour
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups (or 1 12 oz. bag) chocolate chips

Directions:
Combine the first 6 ingredients in a bowl and stir together. With a stand mixer, beat the butter on medium-low speed for 30 seconds. Add the brown sugar and beat for another 30 seconds. Add the white sugar and beat for another 30 seconds. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed. Add the egg, yolk and vanilla and beat until combined. Slowly add the flour mixture a little at a time and mix just until combined. Add the chocolate chips and mix until evenly combined. Bake at 400. For smaller cookies, bake for 7-9 minutes. For larger cookies, bake for 9-11 minutes. Take the cookies out before they look done and allow them to cool completely before eating.

Pour into a greased bundt pan. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Cool completely before removing the cake from the pan and icing. To make the icing, beat the cream cheese and butter until well combined. Slowly add the powdered sugar. Last, beat in the vanilla. Spread or pipe the icing over the cake.

Source:  Lil' Luna  (adapted) Ingredients: 1 cup flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 + 1/8 teaspoon yeast 1/2 cup warm water olive oil oregano basil course salt Directions: Put the yeast in a mixing bowl and pour the water over the top. Allow mixture to rest for a few minutes. Add the flour and salt. Mix with dough hook until well combined. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 8 hours but not more than 24 hours. Pour 1/2 tablespoon olive oil in the bottom of a nonstick 6" cake pan. Place the dough in the pan and cover with plastic wrap. Allow the dough to rest for 2 hours. Uncover the pan and drizzle the dough with olive oil so that the entire surface is lightly covered. Use your fingers to press down into the dough, creating dimples over the entire surface of the dough. Sprinkle the dough with oregano, basil and course salt. Bacon Jam

  Source:  The Endless Meal Ingredients: 1 pound thick cut bacon 2 extra large sweet onions, thickly sliced and diced 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup water 1/3 cup strong brewed coffee 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar Directions: Cut the bacon into 1/2 inch pieces and cook in a skillet over medium-high heat for about 8-10 minutes or until cooked but still chewy. Remove the bacon from the pan with a slotted spoon. Remove all but about 1 tablespoon of the grease. Add the onions to the pan and cook over medium heat for about 8-10 minutes, then reduce the heat to low. Add the sugar and stir. Continue cooking until the onions have caramelized, about 20 minutes. Add the reserved bacon, water and coffee, and increase the heat to medium. Continue to cook, stirring every five minutes, until the mixture is thick and jam-like, about 30 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the vinegar. Taste and add salt if necessary. Use within one week.
